Welcome to the official website of The Legacy of Saturday Night Live (COLL 162)!
At this point, your feathers may be ruffled and several questions might be wiggling through your mind, including:
(1) “Why is there a class website, Alex and Eric?”
(2) “Alex and Eric? Who?”
(3) “Kevin?”
To answer these questions:
(1) There’s a class website because, given the interactive and media-heavy emphasis of the course, we want to make resources easy to access for you. OwlSpace is simply not user-friendly enough for this purpose.
(2) Alex and Eric are a sophomore and junior, respectively, at Baker College from Upstate NY and Buenos Aires, respectively. Both love comedy and SNL, and only Alex is funny but Eric tries (it’s more of a charisma thing with him). They came up with the idea for this course while they were roommates during the 2012-2013 academic year and bffls from 2012-present.
All in all, we hope you enjoy an awesome winter break and prepare yourselves for a fabulous semester ahead!
